You can access all the dialogs in Interactive SQL through the Tools and Data menus. With these dialogs, you can configure Interactive SQL settings, search for table and procedure names to insert into your queries, edit your queries, and export a results set.
The Tools menu contains the following dialogs:
Lookup Table Name The Lookup Table Name dialog lets you browse table and column names and insert them into the SQL Statements pane. See Lookup Table Name dialog.
Lookup Procedure Name The Lookup Procedure Name dialog lets you browse procedure names and insert them into the SQL Statements pane. See Lookup Procedure Name dialog.
Edit Query The Query Editor provides a graphical way to create and edit SELECT statements in Interactive SQL. See Introduction to the Query Editor.
Index Consultant The Index Consultant guides you in the proper selection of indexes. You can use the Index Consultant to analyze the benefits of indexes for an individual query. See Using the Index Consultant.
Options The Options dialog sets options for commands, appearance, importing and exporting data, and messages in Interactive SQL. See Options dialog: General tab.
The Data menu contains the following dialogs:
Export The Export dialog allows you to set options when exporting a result set to a file in Interactive SQL. See Export dialog.
Import The Import dialog allows you to choose a file to import into Interactive SQL, and then you can configure the import settings using the Import wizard.
