Server Store Properties window: Server Properties tab

This tab has the following components:

Rules evaluation period (ms)   Sets the time in milliseconds between evaluations of rules, including message transmission and persistence rules. Since, typically, rules are evaluated dynamically as messages are transmitted to the server store, the rule evaluation period is only for rules that are timing-sensitive. The default value is 60000 (one minute).

This option corresponds to the ianywhere.qa.server.autoRulesEvaluationPeriod server property. See Server properties.

Schedule date format   Sets the date format used for server-side transmission rules. The default date format is yyyy-MM-dd. This option corresponds to the ianywhere.qa.server.scheduleDateFormat server property. See Server properties.

Schedule time format   Sets the time format used for server-side transmission rules. The default time format is HH:mm:ss. This option corresponds to the ianywhere.qa.server.scheduleTimeFormat server property. See Server properties.

Management request address   Sets the agent portion of the address to which to send server management requests. If this property is not set, this value is ianywhere.server. This option corresponds to the ianywhere.qa.server.id server property. See Server properties.

Set password   Click to set the password for authenticating server management requests. If this property is not set, the password is QAnywhere. This option corresponds to the ianywhere.qa.server.password.e server property. See Server properties.

Logging level   Sets the logging level of the messaging. Move the slider from top (high) to bottom (low) to set the error logging level. This option corresponds to the ianywhere.qa.server.logLevel server property. See Server properties.

  • High   Additionally causes more verbose informational messages to be logged, including details about each QAnywhere message that is transmitted by the MobiLink server. This corresponds to a value of 4 for the ianywhere.qa.server.logLevel server property.

  • -   Additionally causes informational messages to be logged. This corresponds to a value of 3 for the ianywhere.qa.server.logLevel server property.

  • -   Additionally causes warnings to be logged. This corresponds to a value of 2 for the ianywhere.qa.server.logLevel server property. This is the default.

  • Low   Indicates that only message errors are logged. This corresponds to a value of 1 for the ianywhere.qa.server.logLevel server property.

Compression level   Configures the amount of compression applied to each message received by a QAnywhere connector. Click Enable Compression and move the slider from left (Low) to right (High) to set the level of compression. The compression is an integer between 0 and 9, with 0 being no compression and 9 being the most compression. The default level is 0.

This option corresponds to the ianywhere.qa.compressionLevel server property. See Server properties.

Restore Defaults   Click Restore Defaults to return the preferences on this tab to their default values.
