Dropping a publication

When you drop a publication, all subscriptions to that publication are automatically deleted.


Dropping publications in a running SQL Remote system can cause replication errors and a loss of data in the replication system. See Upgrades and resynchronization.

 Delete a publication (Sybase Central)
  1. Use the SQL Anywhere 12 plug-in to connect to the database as a user with DBA authority.

  2. In the left pane, expand the Publications folder.

  3. Right-click the desired publication and click Delete.

  1. Connect to the database as a user with DBA authority.

  2. Execute a DROP PUBLICATION statement.

    For example, the following statement drops the publication named PubOrders.
