REMOTE DBA authority

The REMOTE DBA authority grants a limited set of DBA permissions to SQL Remote or MobiLink synchronization users. The remote DBA authority allows you to avoid having to grant full DBA authority, thereby avoiding security problems associated with distributing DBA user IDs and passwords.

For more information about using the REMOTE DBA authority, see GRANT REMOTE DBA statement [MobiLink] [SQL Remote].
