The REAL data type holds a single-precision floating-point number. An approximate numeric data type, it is subject to rounding
errors after arithmetic operations. The approximate nature of REAL values means that queries using equalities should generally
be avoided when comparing REAL values.
REAL values require 4 bytes of storage.
The range of values is -3.402823e+38 to 3.402823e+38, with numbers close to zero as small as 1.175494351e-38. Values held as REAL are accurate to 7 significant digits, but may be subject to rounding error beyond the sixth digit.
