Restarting the cloud

Restart the cloud agents on the hosts where the cloud partners and the cloud arbiter are located.

Prerequisites

You must have access to the cloud partner and cloud arbiter machines.

 Task
  1. On each of the cloud partners and the cloud arbiter hosts, stop the cloud agent (dbcloudagent) service.

    1. Run the following command to find the dbcloudagent service name (for example, dbcloudagent1.0.0.3457):

      dbsvc -l
    2. Run the following command to stop the agent.

      dbsvc -x service-name
  2. On each of the cloud partners and the cloud arbiter hosts, start the cloud agent (dbcloudagent) service.

    1. Run the following command to start the agent:

      dbsvc -u service-name

Results

The cloud is restarted.

Next

Log in to the Cloud Console and restart all other cloud servers and tenant databases.
