Synchronizing with a MobiLink consolidated tenant database

The following steps provide an overview of how to synchronize a MobiLink consolidated tenant database.

There are no prerequisites for this task.

Context and remarks

When moving a consolidated tenant database to a different cloud server, current synchronizations fail. New synchronizations succeed once the new primary database is available.

  1. Install mlsrv16. The installation location is not important, as long as the MobiLink server can access the cloud.

  2. Invoke syncsa.sql on a primary database. This script sets up the tenant database as a MobiLink consolidated database.

  3. Start mlsrv16 with an ODBC data source that connects to the MobiLink consolidated tenant database.

The consolidated database is synchronized.
