server_list The cloud servers to alter. Accepts a search query that identifies cloud servers. The search query can be a list of cloud
server names or IDs separated by semicolons (;), or a full search. (Required)
cloud_version The software version to use for the cloud server on restart. The default is the most recent cloud version installed on the
host where the cloud server resides.
annotation The special annotated software. For internal use only. The default is NULL.
Once the UpgradeCloudInfrastructure task is complete, you can run this task to upgrade all of the cloud servers to the new
SQL Anywhere version by specifying a search query that encompasses all cloud servers and a cloud version of NULL. Once the
AlterServerVersionOnRestart task has finished, stop and restart your cloud. On restart, each cloud server runs using the most
recent software installed on its host.
cloud_version When you specify a specific version, all the cloud servers specified by server_list are upgraded to that version. If the value
is NULL, then any cloud servers specified in the server_list parameter are upgraded to the most recent version of the SQL
Anywhere software that is available on the host where the cloud server is running. For example, if the server_list contains
cloud servers across three hosts, and if the latest version installed on host H1 and H2 is 126.96.36.1990 and the latest version
installed on host H3 is 188.8.131.521, then the cloud servers on hosts H1 and H2 are automatically upgraded to version 184.108.40.2060,
while the cloud servers from host H3 are automatically upgraded to version 220.127.116.111.
In the following example, apple, orange, and grape are hosts, and apple#1, orange#2 and grape#1 are cloud servers. Once the
cloud servers are restarted, they use version 18.104.22.1684 of the cloud software.
dbcloudcmd run AlterServerVersionOnRestart apple#1;orange#2;grape#1 22.214.171.1244
