Difference between a single use and a multiple use host install

When you create a host install for the cloud, you must create either a single use install or a multiple use install.

Specify Single use if you have one computer that you want to turn into a cloud host. Single use host installs are not available for use once they have been used. When you choose Single use, specify the name of the computer for the host name. This installer can only be run on the computer whose host name matches the host name that you specified.

Specify Multiple use if you have several (homogeneous) computers that you want to add as hosts, or if you expect to run the host install multiple times. You can restrict the computers that a multiple use host install runs on to a specified list of IP addresses. When you are prompted to specify where the installer can run, choose Restricted and specify the IP addresses.
