Running tasks from the Run New Task wizard

Run tasks from the Run New Task wizard.

Prerequisites

You must have the privilege required for the specific task.

Context and remarks

While most tasks are run in the Cloud Console through various task wizards, some tasks must be run using the Run new task link on the Events panel.

The Run New Task wizard uses the task syntax to create tasks.

 Task
  1. In the Cloud Console, navigate to the Events panel.

  2. Click Run new task.

    A table appears listing the task syntax names for all cloud tasks.

  3. Click the task you want to run and follow the instructions. The fields in the Run New Task window correspond to the task syntax parameters for the chosen task.

Results

The task is run in the cloud and when finished appears in the Completed Events table.
