Installing dbmlsync as a standalone utility

Run dbmlsync as a standalone utility by installing all the required dbmlsync files to a directory of your choosing in your cloud environment.

There are no prerequisites for this task.

Context and remarks

Use this dbmlsync installation if you plan to synchronize a MobiLink remote tenant database by using dbmlsync directly.

 Task
  • Copy the following files from your SQL Anywhere installation directory to a directory of your choosing:

    dbmlsync.exe dbmlsync
    dbcon16.dll libdbicu16_r.so
    dbicu16.dll libdbicudt16_r.so
    dbicudt16.dll libdblib16_r.so
    dblib16.dll libdbtask16_r.so
    dbtool16.dll libdbtool16_r.so
    mlcecc16.dll libmlcecc16_r.so
    mlcrsa16.dll libmlcrsa16_r.so
    mlcrsafips16.dll libmlcrsafips16_r.so
    mlczlib16.dll libmlczlib16_r.so
    dblgen16.dll1 dblgen16.res1

    1 For German, French, Japanese, and Chinese editions, use dblgde16, dblgfr16, dblgja16, and dblgzh16 respectively.

Results

The dbmlsync utility is installed and can be run in the cloud.
