View the topology of your cloud to learn the location of each database copy and backup in the cloud.
You must have the ManageSystemResources privilege to view the cloud topology in the Cloud Console.
You must have access to the directories on a running cloud host to view the topology file.
Cloud topology also shows you the relationship between database copies and between backups.
The cloud's topology file is located in the C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\SQL Anywhere OnDemand 1.0\topology directory, and is generated daily, by default. Files older than 7 days are deleted nightly.
Generate a new version of the topology file after making extensive changes in your cloud, such as adding a large number of databases to your cloud.
|View the current cloud topology.||On the cloud's Overview panel, under Other Actions, click View cloud topology.|
|Generate a new version of the topology file and save it to all running hosts.||
|View the most recent cloud topology file that was generated and saved to each cloud host.||On a running host, go to the C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\SQL Anywhere OnDemand 1.0\topology directory and open the most recent CloudTopology_date.xml file.|
The topology file appears.
If you have trouble viewing the topology file, try using a different browser. For example, you might have trouble viewing it in Chrome.
