Cloud users are separate from the users defined in tenant databases.
The following types of users are supported in the cloud:
Any user that can connect to the cloud is a cloud user.
A user with Administrator privilege is similar to the database administrator (DBA) user of a tenant database. The Administrator privilege allows users to run any task in the cloud.
Each cloud has at least one cloud user with Administrator privilege. By default, the user specified when the cloud is created has the Administrator privilege.
Any user of a database in the cloud. For example, the user the client application uses to connect to the database.
This user is created when the cloud is created, and is for internal use only. You cannot alter or delete this user.
Any user can change their own password, full name, or email address. To change another user's password, full name, or email address, you must have the CreateDropUser privilege.
