Remove copies of cloud software installs from specific hosts or from the cloud.
You must have the InstallHost privilege.
If there is only one copy of the software in the cloud, then deleting this copy from the host also deletes the software from the cloud. Deleting the software install from the cloud prevents users from installing the software on hosts in the cloud. Deleting software from the cloud does not uninstall it. Uninstalling software is a separate task.
Delete all copies of cloud server software from the cloud only when you are confident that you do not need to run cloud servers with this version. For example, you upgraded all cloud servers to a different version, you uninstalled the old version from all your hosts, and now you want to ensure that the old version is never available to be re-installed in the cloud.
Delete all copies of cloud infrastructure software only when you are confident that you do not need it anymore and you are confident that you do not need to create or upgrade another cloud server to the version bundled with it. For example, you upgraded your cloud infrastructure and have uninstalled the version of the cloud server software that was included with the old cloud infrastructure software, and you want to ensure that the old version is never available to be re-installed in the cloud.
The software is deleted from the selected hosts.
