Deleting cloud objects

Delete objects in the cloud, including databases, cloud servers, tags, schedules, cloud users, rules, backups, and maintenance plans.


You must have the appropriate privilege for the object:

  • Tags


  • Schedules


  • Cloud users


    The user being deleted cannot be connected to the cloud.

  • Rules


  • Backups


    If you delete an incremental backup for a database, ensure that you run a full backup of the database before running any further incremental backups.

  • Maintenance plans

    BackupDatabase and RunScheduleTask

    You cannot delete a default maintenance plan from the cloud.


  1. In the Cloud Console, navigate to the appropriate panel for the object.
  2. Select the relevant object you want to delete.
    Option Action
    Tags Click Delete.
    Scheduled Tasks Click Delete.
    Cloud users Click Delete.
    Rules Click Delete.
    Backups On the database's Back Up & Restore panel, click the relevant backup, then click Start of the navigation path Other actions Next navigation step Delete End of the navigation path and follow the instructions.
    Maintenance plans Click Delete and follow the instructions.


The object is deleted from the cloud.
