ExecuteTenantBatch task

Executes a batch of SQL statements at a tenant database.

Syntax 1 (SQL)
CALL DBCloud.ExecuteTenantBatch ( database_list=database_list, sql_batch=sql_batch )
Syntax 2 (Cloud Command utility)
dbcloudcmd run ExecuteTenantBatch database_list sql_batch
Parameters
  • database_list

    A list of databases where the SQL batch is executed. Accepts a search query that identifies databases. The search query can be a list of database names or IDs separated by semicolons (;), or a full search. (Required)

  • sql_batch

    The batch of SQL statements to execute, in quotes. (Required)

Remarks

If the SQL batch contains one or more SELECT statements, result sets are returned up to a maximum of 100 000 rows.

Not all SQL statements are supported.

Example

The following command creates a table on the specified database:

dbcloudcmd run ExecuteTenantBatch database_list=demo sql_batch="CREATE TABLE t1 ( a INT, b CHAR(10));"
