Measures and records the CPU performance characteristics of the specified host.
CALL DBCloud.MeasureCPUPerformance ( host=host )
dbcloudcmd run MeasureCPUPerformance host
The host whose CPU performance is to be measured. Accepts a search query that identifies one host, for example a host name or ID. (Required)
This task runs a CPU benchmark on the specified host and records the results as the cpu_performance attribute of the host.
The value recorded rates the performance of the host's CPU. The higher the value attributed to the host, the better its CPU performance.
Run this task on hosts that are known to be idle; otherwise, the results may be meaningless.
To view the cpu_performance attribute from dbcloudcmd, run the following command:
dbcloudcmd describe MyHost
Run the following task to measure the CPU performance on the host named myhost:
dbcloudcmd run MeasureCPUPerformance myhost
