Measures and records I/O performance characteristics of the specified host.
CALL DBCloud.MeasureIOPerformance ( host=host )
dbcloudcmd run MeasureIOPerformance host
The host whose I/O performance is to be measured. Accepts a search query that identifies one host, for example a host name or ID. (Required)
This task runs an I/O benchmark on the specified host and records the results as the disk_read_rand_io_per_sec (random I/O per second) and disk_read_seq_bytes_per_sec (sequential reads per second) host attributes.
Run this task on hosts that are known to be idle; otherwise, the results may be meaningless.
To view the host attributes from dbcloudcmd, run the following command:
dbcloudcmd describe MyHost
Run the following task to measure the I/O performance on the host named myhost:
dbcloudcmd run MeasureIOPerformance myhost
