Installing dbmlsync as a standalone utility

Run dbmlsync as a standalone utility by installing all the required dbmlsync files to a directory of your choosing in your cloud environment.

Context

Use this dbmlsync installation if you plan to synchronize a MobiLink remote tenant database by using dbmlsync directly.

Procedure

Copy the following files from your SQL Anywhere installation directory to a directory of your choosing:

dbicudt17.dll libdblib17_r.so
dblib17.dll libdbtask17_r.so

mlcrsa17.dll libmlcrsa17_r.so
mlcrsafips17.dll libmlcrsafips17_r.so
mlczlib17.dll libmlczlib17_r.so
dblgen17.dll dblgen17.res

1 For German, French, Japanese, and Chinese editions, use dblgde17, dblgfr17, dblgja17, and dblgzh17 respectively.

Results

The dbmlsync utility is installed and can be run in the cloud.
