Installing dbremote as a standalone utility

Run dbremote as a standalone utility in the cloud by installing all the required dbremote files to a directory of your choosing in your cloud environment.

Context

Use this dbremote installation if you plan to run dbremote independently of your SAP cloud installation.

Procedure

Copy the following files from your SQL Anywhere installation directory to a directory of your choosing:

1 For German, French, Japanese, and Chinese editions, use dblgde17, dblgfr17, dblgja17, and dblgzh17 respectively.

Results

The dbremote utility is installed and can be run in the cloud.
