Within the Cloud Console, you can perform global search queries or object-specific filtered search queries.
The global search window can be used to search across all cloud object types. For example, the search query name:de* returns all cloud objects whose names begin with de.
To restrict the search query results further to a specific object type, use the type filter. For example, "name:de* and type:database" returns databases whose names begin with de.
The object-specific search filters the results by the object. For example, specifying de* as a search filter on the Databases panel returns only databases whose name begins with de.
You can only use link filters and properties in a search query that apply to the type of cloud object you are searching for. For example, you cannot specify db_mode = 'Primary' when searching for a database, as db_mode is an attribute of a database copy.
