SetServerLoggingOption task

Configuring the logging option of a list of cloud servers.

Syntax 1 (SQL)
CALL DBCloud.SetServerLoggingOption ( ...option_name=option_name, on_or_off=on_or_off [, optional-parameters ] )
Syntax 2 (Cloud Command utility)
dbcloudcmd run SetServerLoggingOption ...option_name on_or_off [ optional-parameters ]
Parameters
  • server_list

    A list of cloud servers to configure. Accepts a search query that identifies cloud servers. The search query can be a list of cloud server names or IDs separated by semicolons (;), or a full search. The default is 'status:running'.

  • option_name

    The logging option to configure. Valid option names are: console_log, request_level_log, http_log, communication_debugging, or all. (Required)

  • on_or_off

    Set to 1 to turn logging option on, or 0 to turn off. (Required)

  • arg1

    Internal use only. The default is NULL.

  • arg2

    Internal use only. The default is NULL.

  • arg3

    Internal use only. The default is NULL.

  • arg4

    Internal use only. The default is NULL.

  • arg5

    Internal use only. The default is NULL.

Remarks

Valid logging options are console_log, request_level_log, http_log, and communication_debugging.

Example

Run the following task to turn on request_level_log:

dbcloudcmd run SetServerLoggingOption option_name=request_level_log on_or_off=1

Run the following task to turn on communication_debugging:

dbcloudcmd run SetServerLoggingOption option_name=communication_debugging on_or_off=1
