StartDatabase task

Starts a database in the cloud.

Syntax 1 (SQL)
CALL DBCloud.StartDatabase ( database_list=database_list )
Syntax 2 (Cloud Command utility)
dbcloudcmd run StartDatabase database_list
Parameters
  • database_list

    A list of databases to start. Accepts a search query that identifies databases. The search query can be a list of database names or IDs separated by semicolons (;), or a full search. (Required)

Remarks

This task starts the specified database, including its database copies, in the cloud.

When the database is configured to autostop, running this task prevents the database from automatically stopping.

Example

Run the following task to start the databases mydatabase and myolddatabase:

dbcloudcmd run StartDatabase database_list=mydatabase;myolddatabase

Run the following task to start all the databases on the cloud server myserver#3 that have the tag mytag:

dbcloudcmd run StartDatabase database_list="server:myserver#3 and tag:mytag"
