StopDatabaseCopy task

Stops a running database copy.

Syntax 1 (SQL)
CALL DBCloud.StopDatabaseCopy ( databasecopy=databasecopy [, optional-parameters ] )
Syntax 2 (Cloud Command utility)
dbcloudcmd run StopDatabaseCopy databasecopy [ optional-parameters ]
Parameters
  • databasecopy

    The database copy to stop. Accepts a database copy name, ID, or a search query that returns a database copy. (Required)

  • unconditionally

    Set to 1 to stop unconditionally or to 0 to stop only if there are no connections to the database. The default is 1.

Remarks

You must stop scale-out database copies to stop the mirror database, and you must stop the mirror database to stop the primary database.

Use the following format to specify the database copy:

database-name@"server-name"

Example

Run the following task to stop the database copy of the database mydatabase running on the cloud server myserver#3:

dbcloudcmd run StopDatabaseCopy databasecopy=mydatabase@myserver#3

Run the following task to stop the database copy of the database db1 running on the cloud server my-server#2:

dbcloudcmd run StopDatabaseCopy "database:db1 and server:my-server#2"
