Searching for database objects

Within Sybase Central, you can search a database for a specified database object, or search for a string within the SQL of a database object.

If you do not have the necessary privileges to view the Login Mappings folder, Maintenance Plans folder, or the Page Usage or Locks tab for a database, any search you perform skips these folders and/or tabs.

  1. In Sybase Central, use the SQL Anywhere 16 plug-in to connect to a database.

  2. Click View » Search Pane.

The Search pane appears in the left pane.

  3. Configure options for the search.
