SQL Anywhere includes several tools for testing the performance of queries. These tools are stored in subdirectories under %SQLANYSAMP16%\SQLAnywhere, as noted below. Complete documentation about each tool can be found in a readme.txt file that is located in the same folder as the tool.
|fetchtst||Determines the time required for a result set to be retrieved.||%SQLANYSAMP16%\SQLAnywhere\PerformanceFetch|
|odbcfet||Determines the time required for a result set to be retrieved. This tool is similar to fetchtst, but with less functionality.||%SQLANYSAMP16%\SQLAnywhere\PerformanceFetch|
|instest||Determines the time required for rows to be inserted into a table.||%SQLANYSAMP16%\SQLAnywhere\PerformanceInsert|
|trantest||Measures the load that can be handled by a given database server configuration given a database design and a set of transactions.||%SQLANYSAMP16%\SQLAnywhere\PerformanceTransaction|
