Server transmission rules govern the behavior of messages going from the server to the client. Server transmission rules are handled by the MobiLink server. They apply both when you are using push notifications and when you are not using notifications.
The Transmission Rules tab of the Server Store property sheet has the following components:
Customize the default transmission rules Shows whether customized transmission rules are used.
Transmission rules list Lists customized transmission rules for the server store. You can add new rules, and edit and delete existing rules.
New To add a new transmission rule, click New. The Rule Editor dialog appears. This is only available if Customize the Default Transmission Rules is selected.
Edit To edit an existing transmission rule, select the rule from the list and then click Edit. The Rule Editor dialog appears. This is only available if Customize the Default Transmission Rules is selected and there is at least one transmission rule selected.
Delete To delete an existing rule, select the rule from the list, click Delete, and then confirm the deletion.
