Service property sheet: Configuration tab

The Configuration tab of the Service property sheet has the following components:

File name    Provides a place for you to type the path of the executable file. For example, c:\Program Files\SQL Anywhere 10\win32\dbeng10.exe.

You can also click Browse to search for a file.

Parameters    Type additional parameters (file names and options) for the executable file in the text box. You can use the same options for a service that you use for the executable.

For example to start a SQL Remote Message Agent service, connecting to the SQL Anywhere sample database as user DBA, enter the following:

-c "UID=DBA;PWD=sql;DBN=demo"
