The Search feature in Sybase Central allows you to search a database for a specified object name, or to search for a string within the SQL of a database object.
The Search pane has the following components:
Find what Enter the object name or SQL string you want to search for, or choose an item from the dropdown list.
Look in Choose an item from the dropdown list to narrow your search.
Match case Select this option to find only text that exactly matches the text in the Find what box, including matching upper and lower case.
Find whole words only Select this option to match one or more whole words. For example, if you select this option and search for the word serve, the search will not find the word serve within the word server.
Search in SQL Select this option to search SQL statements for the specified string.
Search dynamic properties (connections, statistics, locks) Select this option to include dynamic properties in the search.
Search Click Search to find the object or string specified in Find What.
Results list Shows the name, object type, and context for each item that is found.
