LESSER function [Miscellaneous]

Returns the lesser of two parameter values.

LESSER( expression-1, expression-2 )

expression-1    The first parameter value to be compared.

expression-2    The second parameter value to be compared.

If the parameters are equal, the first value is returned.

The following statement returns the value 5.

SELECT LESSER( 10, 5 ) FROM dummy;
