The SYSINDEX view is provided for compatibility with older versions of SQL Anywhere that offered a SYSINDEX system table. However, the SYSINDEX system table has been replaced by the ISYSIDX system table, and its corresponding SYSIDX system view, which you should use instead.
The tables and columns that make up this view are provided in the SQL statement below. To learn more about a particular table or column, use the links provided beneath the view definition.
ALTER VIEW "SYS"."SYSINDEX" as select b.table_id, b.index_id, b.object_id, p.root, b.file_id, case b."unique" when 1 then 'Y' when 2 then 'U' when 3 then 'M' when 4 then 'N' else 'I' end as "unique", t.creator, b.index_name, r.remarks, 10 as hash_limit from(SYS.ISYSIDX as b left outer join SYS.ISYSPHYSIDX as p on (b.table_id = p.table_id and b.phys_index_id = p.phys_index_id)) left outer join SYS.ISYSREMARK as r on(b.object_id = r.object_id), SYS.SYSTABLE as t where t.table_id = b.table_id and b.index_category = 3
