If you deploy UltraLite as part of a SQL Anywhere integrated database environment, there are three tiers to this solution: the remote layer consists of a mobile UltraLite database and application, the synchronization layer consist of a MobiLink server and an appropriate number of synchronization scripts, and the enterprise consolidated database layer can consists of a SQL Anywhere database (however other third-party databases are supported). You can also use SQL Anywhere as a remote database.
