This tab has the following components:

Enter connection parameters, one per line, in the form "name=value"   Type any additional connection parameters in this field, entering one connection parameter per line. The following connection parameters log debugging information regarding connections:

LOG=connection.log

When you enter the connection parameters one per line, a semicolon is not required between the parameters.

Connection parameters set in this field take precedence over parameters set throughout the rest of this window. For example, if you enter the user ID DBA on the Identification tab, and set the connection parameter "UID=bsmith" in this field, a connection with the user ID bsmith is attempted.

Connection type   Choose Generic ODBC Database from the list when connecting to a database other than SQL Anywhere or UltraLite (for example, Microsoft SQL Server, DB2, or Oracle).
