Gateway Properties window: SMTP Server tab

This tab has the following components:

Server   Specify the following server information for the gateway:

  • Host   Type the name of the computer on which the SMTP server is running.

  • This server requires authentication   Select this option if the selected server requires authentication. Selecting this option activates the User and Password options.

    • User   Type the user ID used for SMTP authentication.

    • Password   Type the password used for SMTP authentication.

Headers   Specify the following header information:

  • From   This is the sender address of the emails (SMTP requests). The default is anonymous.
