Create a database (Sybase Central)

You can create a database in Sybase Central using the Create Database Wizard. See Create a database (SQL), and Create a database (command line).

♦  To create a new database (Sybase Central)

  1. Start Sybase Central.

  2. Choose Tools » SQL Anywhere 11 » Create Database.

  3. Follow the instructions in the Create Database Wizard.

Tip

You can also access the Create Database Wizard from within Sybase Central using the following methods:

  • Selecting a server, and choosing File » Create Database.
  • Right-clicking a server, and choosing Create Database.
