SQLExecDirect function

Executes a SQL statement, for UltraLite ODBC.

Syntax 
UL_FN_SPEC SQLRETURN UL_FN_MOD SQLExecDirect (
SQLHSTMT StatementHandle,
SQLTCHAR * StatementText,
SQLINTEGER TextLength );
Parameters

  • StatementHandle   A statement handle.

  • StatementText   The text of the SQL statement.

  • TextLength   The length of *StatementText.

Remarks

Unlike SQLExecute, the statement does not need to be prepared before being executed using SQLExecDirect.

SQLExecDirect has slower performance than SQLExecute for statements executed repeatedly.
