To use the SQL Anywhere PHP extension on other versions of Unix or Mac OS X, you must build the PHP extension from the source code which is installed in the sdk/php subdirectory of your SQL Anywhere installation. See Building the SQL Anywhere PHP extension on Unix and Mac OS X.
