Column Properties window (View): General tab

This tab has the following components:

  • Name   Shows the name of the selected column.

  • Type   Shows the type of object.

  • View   Shows the name of the view the column belongs to, with the name of the view's owner in parentheses.

  • Data type   Shows the data type of the selected column.

  • Allows null   Shows whether the selected column allows NULL values.

  • Comment   Provides a place for you to type a text description of the column.
