Drop external logins

Use one of the following procedures to delete an external login from the SQL Anywhere system tables.

 ♦  To delete an external login (Sybase Central)
  1. Use the SQL Anywhere 12 plug-in to connect to the host database as a user with DBA authority or as the owner of the external login.

  2. In the left pane, double-click Remote Servers.

  3. Select the remote server, and in the right pane click the External Logins tab.

  4. Select the external login, and then choose File » Delete.

  5. Click Yes.

 ♦  To delete an external login (SQL)
  1. Connect to the host database as a user with DBA authority.

  2. Execute a DROP EXTERNLOGIN statement.
