ST_Curve 类型是使用点序列表示线的类型的超类型。子类型指定是使用直线段 (ST_LineString)、圆弧线段 (ST_CircularString) 还是两者的组合 (ST_CompoundCurve) 来连接控制点。ST_Curve 类型不可实例化。如果 ST_Curve 值不与自身相交（除了可能在端点相交以外），则为简单值。如果 ST_Curve 值在端点相交，则为闭合值。既简单又闭合的 ST_Curve 值称为环。
