Configuring the Update Checker (Sybase Central)

Configure SQL Anywhere to notify you when updates, such as Support Packages and minor releases, become available. Also, you can send performance data to the development team to help improve the product.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for this task.

Context and remarks

By default, SQL Anywhere checks daily for software updates.

 Task

  1. In Sybase Central, click Help » SQL Anywhere 16 » Configure Update Checker.

  2. Edit the Software Updates and Notices settings.

  3. Click OK.

Results

The Update Checker is configured.
