Adding SQL script files, SQL statements, and connections to favorites

In Interactive SQL, you can store frequently used SQL script files, SQL statements, and connections in a favorites list. A favorites list is specific to a single user and cannot be seen by other users.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for this task.

 Task
  1. Click Favorites » Add To Favorites.

    Option Action
    SQL script files
    1. Open the SQL script file that you want to add to your favorites.

    2. Click Add the open file 'filename'. In the Name field, type a name for the .sql file.

    SQL statements

    Click Add SQL Statements. In the Name field, type a name for the favorite.

    Connections

    Click Save The Connection Password. In the Name field, type a name for the connection.

  2. Click OK.

Results

The SQL script file, SQL statements, or connection is saved to your favorites list.

Next

You can open your favorites by clicking Favorites and choosing the favorite you want to open, or you can display your favorites in a sidebar by clicking Favorites » Show Favorites.

You can also edit, share, or back up your favorites.
