Restarting the SNMP service

If you installed SNMP before you installed SQL Anywhere, you must restart the SNMP service so it can detect the SQL Anywhere SNMP Extension Agent.

Prerequisites

You must be an administrator on your computer.

 Task

  1. Run the following command to stop the SNMP service:

    net stop snmp

  2. Run the following command to start the SNMP service:

    net start snmp

Results

The SNMP service is restarted.
