FIPS-certified encryption requires a separate license. All strong encryption technologies are subject to export regulations.
This topic details the support for RSA and FIPS-certified encryption. TLS versions 1.0 and 1.1 are supported.
RSA encryptionRSA encryption is provided free with SQL Anywhere and can be used for client/server communication, synchronization, and web services. The free version is not FIPS-certified. To implement FIPS-certified RSA encryption, you need a separate license.
