Customizing alert emails

You can configure the Monitor to send an email to specified Monitor administrators and operators when an alert occurs for a resource.

Prerequisites

You must be a Monitor administrator.

 Task

  1. Log in to the Monitor.

  2. Ensure that an email address has been configured for the Monitor administrator or operator.

  3. Associate the Monitor administrator or operator with a resource.

  4. Enable the Monitor to send emails.

Results

The Monitor is configured to send emails.
