Obtaining authentication signatures

Get authentication signatures for your database and application to use the OEM Edition.

Prerequisites

To get an authentication signature, you must have an OEM contract with Sybase iAnywhere.

 Task

  1. Go to [external link] http://www.sybase.com/sql_anywhere_authentication_registration.

  2. Complete the form to get your authentication signatures. The following information is incorporated into your authentication mechanism:

    • Company   The name of your company.

    • Application Name   The name of your application.

Results

Once you complete the form, you are emailed a database signature and an application signature within 48 hours. These signatures are long strings of characters and digits.
