OData Server Stop utility (dbostop.exe)

Stops the embedded HTTP server and all OData Producers.

Syntax

dbostop [ -q ] { -f properties-filename | -p port-number }

Option	Description
-f properties-filename	Uses the port number specified by the ShutdownListenerPort option to send a shutdown request.
-p port-number	Specifies the port number to send a shutdown request to. The default value is 2449.
-q	Attempts to shut down a server quietly. Messages are not displayed.

Remarks

If the -p or -f options are not provided, this utility attempts to shutdown the embedded HTTP server and the OData Producers on port 2449.

The shutdown port number must be identical to the ShutdownListenerPort option specified in the OData Server configuration file that was used to start the OData Server.

Use the OData Server Stop utility and then restart the OData Server or OData Producers when you make changes to the database schema so that the changes can take effect and become visible to OData clients.
