Backup and recovery

Following is a list of backup and recovery enhancements introduced in SQL Anywhere version 11.0.0.

  • Support for the Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS)   SQL Anywhere is compatible with Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS). To use VSS, you must rebuild all existing databases. See SQL Anywhere Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS).
