Following is a list of enhancements to MobiLink clients introduced in SQL Anywhere version 16.0.
Role-based access control (RBAC) and synchronization In the new SQL Anywhere 16.0 role- and privileged-based security model, a user must be granted the SYS_RUN_REPLICATION_ROLE to run synchronization and the SYS_REPLICATION_ADMIN_ROLE to perform administrative tasks related to synchronization. Each of these roles include various system privileges. You can grant and revoke roles and privileges to attain more control over the security of your synchronization environment.

New trusted_certificate_name MobiLink client network protocol option The trusted_certificate_name protocol option enables you to specify trusted root certificates that are stored in the remote database. This option is only available for SQL Anywhere clients. See trusted_certificate_name.
