This tab has the following components:
Name Shows the name of the LDAP server.
Type Shows the type of object.
ID Shows the ID of the LDAP server.
Search URL Shows the URL used for the lookup of the LDAP Distinguished Name (DN) for a given MobiLink user. The URL contains the host (by name or IP address), port number, and search to be performed. The format of the search URL must comply with the LDAP URL standard.
The maximum size of this string is 1024 bytes.
Distinguished Name Shows the DN used by the MobiLink server to connect to the LDAP server. This is not a MobiLink user, but a user created in the LDAP server specifically for logging in to the LDAP server.
The user specified by the DN must have permissions within the LDAP server to search for DNs by user ID in the locations specified in the SEARCH DN URL clause.
The maximum size for this string is 1024 bytes.
Password When selected, contains the password associated with the DN.
Authentication URL Shows the URL used to authenticate a Distinguished User and password. The URL identifies the host (by name or IP address), and the port number of the LDAP server to use to authenticate a user.
The DN of the user obtained using the search URL and the user password are used to bind a new connection to the authentication URL. A successful connection to the LDAP server is considered proof of the identity of the connecting user.
Use TLS Select this checkbox to use TLS for connections to the LDAP server for DN searches and authentication.
Connection timeout Specify the connection timeout from the MobiLink server to the LDAP server for DN searches and authentication.
Connection retries Choose the number of times you want the MobiLink server to try to connect to the LDAP server for DN searches and authentication.
Trusted certificates files Specify a trusted certificates file to be used for TLS communications between the MobiLink server and the LDAP server, or click Browse.
The same trusted certificates file is used by all defined LDAP servers so changing this setting affects all defined LDAP servers.
